My Story
Starting as a Wedding Makeup Artist in Scotland back in 2015, I decided it was time for a change. I was travelling all over Scotland for Weddings and as lovely as that is, I was spending a lot of time away from home. I received lots of makeup enquiries for Glencoe (I still do) and started to wonder why Brides weren't finding more local artists. So I started looking into wedding hair and makeup in Scotland and noticed that there are a lot of Artists and it is actually quite overwhelming when you start looking as pages and pages of artists come up on Google.

I thought what if there was a one stop shop for Brides to Be looking for Wedding Hair and Makeup in Scotland, and came across a few wedding directories but seen that they only had a handful of hair and makeup artists on them, but were saturated with other wedding suppliers.
​
So after some more research and finding a suitable platform to create my directory, the Scottish Wedding Hair & Makeup Directory was born. It took off really quickly and has become the largest and only dedicated Wedding Directory for hair and makeup in Scotland.
It has now also become a community for hair and makeup artists to come together, this can be a very lonely job and often we don't have many other hair and makeup artists to chat to or ask questions. We now have an amazing community with so many talented hair and makeup artists sharing tips, advice and bookings with each other.
