What areas do you cover?I am based in South West Scotland in Dumfries and Galloway, and cover this area, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Lothians, Borders, Carlisle, Stirling and some of Perthshire. I am available for travel outside of these areas, please get in touch for a quote as these aren't included in my packages.
How many people do you provide makeup for?I only offer makeup for parties of 4, if you have additional party members requiring makeup, I will recommend a list of Artists who I often work with and who offer a similar natural style of makeup as I do, or I can arrange to bring along a second artist (please note there may be an additional charge for travel for a second artist).
Do I need to pay a deposit?Yes, I require a non-refundable Booking Fee of £100 to secure your booking. This deposit is necessary to reserve your desired date and time, and will be deducted from the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment. The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to your wedding day. In the event that you need to cancel your appointment up to 3 months before your date, 50% of the Booking Fee will be kept to cover admin costs. If the appointment is cancelled within 3 months or less of the Date then the full Booking Fee will be kept as due to demand, it's likely that I will have turned away many booking for your date and unlikely to fill the date at short notice.
Do I need to have a trial?Bridal previews are not essential, they are recommended but if you are unable to have one, we will schedule a 30 minute video consultation to answer any questions you may have. Previews take place at my home studio near Moffat (DG10) and take approx 2 hours. Please wear or bring a light/white top to wear that is similar in colour and neckline as your dress for the best results. And if possible, schedule your hair trial at the same time or wear your hair similar to how you plan to wear on the day.
What if my numbers go down?If you have booked and paid a Booking Fee for a certain number, if this number goes down, you will still be charged for the amount said in the original booking.
