My name is Hania and I live in a wee Village in Dumfries and Galloway. I may or may not have an addiction to buying makeup, especially anything Charlotte Tilbury. I got into Makeup a little later in life, when I was 40, and decided to change my career.
In May 2015 I completed the Foundation Makeup Artistry Course at The Academy of Make Up in Glasgow. Aftercare at the Academy has allowed me to regularly attend seminars and workshops to keep up to date with the latest makeup trends. Courses and Workshops I have attended include,
Asian Bridal Makeup
Editorial Makeup with Sara Hill
Introduction to Hair Styling
Luxury Bridal Masterclass
Black Skin Masterclass
Boho Bridal Hair Styling
Mature Skin Masterclass
I am so passionate about makeup and my job. From the very first point of contact I want my Brides to feel special and welcomed and to feel at ease with me. I love to take time to get to know my Brides and spend time with them and want them to feel like a Million Dollars on their Wedding Day.
I recently won an Award for Freelance Wedding Makeup Specialist of the Year for the South Region at The Scottish Wedding Awards 2018 which has been such a high point to my career. I also made it as a finalist for the 2019 and 2020 Scottish Wedding Awards as well as a finalist for the Official Makeup Artist Awards 2019.
In September 2018 I attended Jordan Liberty's first ever Masterclass in London as well as Mia Connors Dublin Masterclass in October. In March 2019 I attended Danessa Myricks Masterclass in Manchester.
I now offer Hair Styling Services (for smaller Bridal Parties only).
I am a volunteer for Look Good Feel Better, a charity providing workshops for women who have been affected by the visual effects of Cancer.
